Urlacher Throws Bears Under the Bus

In the wake of NFL players settling multimillion dollar court cases over the abundance of concussions and the lack of action to prevent permanent brain damage or even death. Leave it to Fox Sports to headline common knowledge in attempts to taint a Hall of Famer's name in Brian Urlacher. As a new analyst on Fox Sports Daily, Urlacher simply explained the already scoffed at job on the team known as a "Dive Guy".

The "Dive Guy" is a designated player that in times of dyer need late in games to stop the clock, said player would fake an injury in order to stop the clock due to player injury. This is a well known tactic when your QB can't stop the clock or skills players can't get out of bounds, fans and annalists alike know this.

However, Urlacher took it a step further in saying that the Chicago Bears had a designated player that was signaled by a sidelined coach in a pantomime swim motion of a "dive" to trigger said player to fake the injury. As well known and frowned upon, that tactic is well thought out and sadly needed for some teams. Sorry Bears, Brian isn't good at keeping secrets. Luckily no one watches Fox Sports.
